Kathie is a business performance optimization consultant and coach specializing in accelerating organizational change in both business strategy and people performance. With a background in professional services and executive leadership, Kathie brings over 25+ years of experience helping clients deliver extraordinary bottom line results. Kathie’s strong knowledge of strategy combined with her work as an executive and team coach, has allowed her to leverage in others the key motivators of human performance, across all areas of organization and leadership development, in support of significant human resource/business Initiatives.

 

As an independent consultant, Kathie has worked with numerous global clients in a wide variety of industries. She specializes in behavioral transformation and culture change methodologies that drive tangible business results. Over the past several years, much of the work focused on developing and maintaining trusted advisor partnerships with key customers (internal & External). As a master facilitator/executive coach, Kathie’s work involves collaborating with senior management and regional leadership, and other key client groups, facilitating professional development/culture change sessions using progressive learning methods, and providing innovative 1:1 coaching to help enhance the long term strategic value created for these key stakeholders. Success has been achieved by measurable increases in key business metrics. Project deliverables included research/interviews, instructional design, program facilitation and executive/team coaching, metrics tracking and results reporting.  A sample of projects include: research, design and deliver program to major cable/media/network organization (integrating acquisition, aligning teams, creating focus); master facilitator/coach for a culture change initiative at a Fortune 10 auto manufacturer (Improved relationships with dealers to Trusted Advisor status); instructional design, facilitation and coaching a culture change initiative for a Fortune 100 insurance company (delivering substantial improvements in employee engagement and customer experience); instructional design, master facilitator, executive coach for Fortune 15 telecom company (100 Global Account teams achieved Trusted Advisor Status with their customers and delivered >$150MM in incremental revenue), to name a few.

 

Prior to consulting independently, Kathie held several executive positions in Fortune 100 and entrepreneurial businesses. She started her career in the Consumer Products industry with positions at Mattel Toys and The Dial Corporation/Henkel. Her responsibilities included roles as Marketing Research Director, New Products Marketing Director and Vice President of Marketing Services, overseeing global brands. Kathie had responsibility for a $200MM advertising and media budget and oversaw the work of 32 team members.

 

A California native, Kathie attended the University of Southern California where she earned a BS in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing. She earned an MBA in Strategic Management and International Business from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. She recently completed a post-graduate degree in Executive Coaching at the College of Executive Coaching and is a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

 

Kathie is an internationally recognized author, keynote speaker, facilitator and coach in the areas of organizational/culture change, leadership development, talent management, strategic business planning, and plan execution. She is actively involved with her community and church, and volunteers extensively with several non-profit organizations including her daughters charity Bare Necessities 4 Teens.
